I have decent gear for all three specs, with Holy being the best (despite lower ilevel pieces than Prot), and Ret being the worst, as I've only ever picked up pieces when nobody else needed them.

brings to the raid:
Massive wall of text inc, most of this is to prove I know my class.

Paladins, as they have been ever since vanilla, are buffbots. We bring a wide range of raid buffs to a 25man, which are somewhat provided by other classes, but not quite to the same degree paladins provide them.

As holy we are the most powerful block healer in the game, able to keep any two targets alive through the most dangerous situations, where other healers are not. The main weakness of a holy paladin is longevity. Back in Naxxramas, EoE and Ulduar, the best way to retain this longevity was by going for as much crit as possible, as illumination still returned a respectable amount of mana. Since 3.2 however, illumination has taken a 50% nerf, and only returns 30% of the cost of the spell, as opposed to 60% as it did before. This means, that the stats changed, with mp5 being better, this is the way to keep going.

As tanks, Paladins are arguably the most useful add-tanks. Whilst lacking the spike-threat a Death Knight or Druid provides, they have a large range of taunts and are the only tank who is capable of being permanently un-hittable, via holy shield. This increases their usefulness in fights such as Anub'arak in TogC25, and tanking adds in Phase 1 of the Lich King. Their main weakness is that they have significantly less health than the other available tanking classes, so taking the bigger hits is not quite so easy. Paladins also lack a gap-closer, so getting after a stray add is not quite so easy.

As retribution, paladins are one of the highest AoE dps in the game, since with the addition of the tier 10 2-set bonus divine storm has a much more important role in their dps, be it trash or bosses. They rely rather heavily on crit for maximum dps output, and this alone is what makes some of their best in slot items leather pieces, since the slight loss in attack-power whilst gaining a significant amount of crit means their dps is higher overall. Their main weakness is that they're cooldown limited, and as such even with an endless mana-pool their dps will not be any higher. They are however useful for killing bosses after the enrage timer has ended, since Divine protection can save a wipe with the last amount of damage being done whilst the boss is killing the raid.

Why did you leave your last guild/s?: I left both Heavens Will and iRaid because they disbanded, and Simulacrum (where I am currently), I joined to help start a 2nd 25man raiding team, which so far as i can see, has only had new members in the form of healers. Sure you can attempt raids with 25 healers, but will you be able to do LK?

Pre-wrath: I've cleared nearly every raid available, however whilst I've played since vanilla, I was never at the level-cap each time so I was unable to raid at the correct time period.

Why
would you like to join Monkey Tennis?: As much as Simulacrum is a very reputable guild, I was somewhat unimpressed by how it is run. I hope that, another 25man raiding guild will be better, and I got word of a possible spot from a friend, so here I am.

How can you help Monkey
Tennis?: I spend a lot of time reading various reputable forums (Elitist Jerks, etc) to understand exactly how my class works.

Do you know any members of Monkey Tennis?: Not personally, I've had the odd conversation with a couple of members, whose names I don't know.

Additional
notes and anything random you'd like to tell us about yourself: I'm extremely quick to learn from my mistakes, chances are if I make a mistake in a boss I'm new to, that mistake will not happen again. I also thrive on knowledge, so I do spend a lot of time maximising what my character can do through the use of the websites I mentioned. I try to help people with their individual class-based problems, and can advise to the best of my knowledge.

And
last of all, do you have any bad reputation you think we should know
about?: It's unlikely, I try my best to show myself in a good light, I do have the occasional (rather) lengthy afk break, since when I'm not an uni it is impossible to have a 'quick' meal, my parents do prevent me from returning to the game when intended.

Apologies in advance for some of the lengthy explanations for some points, I just wanted to get everything down.

Thats so fail to post Blaazh, we appreciate people who bother spending more than 5mins scraping together a application. Not to mentione it increases hes chances of gaining a trial significantly by making a proper app.

As for the app itself, it remains to our CL to make the decission, but our current pala spots are tight. gl
